About 4space

We believe ordinary people
are capable of infinite thinking

4space.io exists for anyone who has ever looked up at the night sky and felt that the universe is trying to tell them something important.

Our Manifesto

We live in an age of infinite information and declining imagination. Algorithms optimize for what you already believe. Schools teach you what is known. The news cycles through what happened, never through what might become. Somewhere in all this noise, the genuinely strange — the ideas that reshape reality — get buried under the weight of the ordinary.

4space.io was built as a counter-force. A place where the inconvenient question is more valuable than the comfortable answer. Where someone who never went to university can ask the same question as a Nobel laureate — and sometimes, get closer to the truth.

We believe imagination is a skill that atrophies if not exercised and expands beyond comprehension if trained. Every idea we publish, every conversation we host, every community we nurture is designed to do one thing: stretch the boundaries of what you believe is possible to think.

The name 4space comes from the fourth dimension — a direction you can point to mathematically but cannot perceive with ordinary senses. That gap between what exists and what we can currently perceive is where we live. It is the most exciting address in the universe.

4SPACE.IO
For Who

Who is 4space for?

The curious student who's never found a community that keeps up with their questions.
The researcher who wants to discuss ideas with people outside their field.
The creator who needs ideas that haven't been made into a TED talk yet.
The skeptic who believes in evidence but knows science has limits it hasn't admitted yet.
Anyone who has stayed up too late thinking about what's really going on.
Our Values

What we stand for

🌌
Cosmic Perspective
The universe is 13.8 billion years old and we've been doing science for 500 years. Humility before the unknown is not weakness — it's the beginning of real thinking.
Rigorous Imagination
We take wild ideas seriously. But "anything goes" is not a philosophy — we demand internal consistency, honest reasoning, and respect for what evidence shows.
🤝
Radical Inclusion
A 16-year-old from Lagos and a professor from MIT are equal here. Ideas don't care about credentials. The best question wins.
🔭
Long-Term Thinking
We care about ideas that matter over centuries, not clicks that matter for seconds. Our attention horizon is longer than the news cycle by several orders of magnitude.
🌱
Generative Conflict
Disagreement, when done well, is how understanding grows. We train for it and celebrate it. Echo chambers are the death of real thought.
Wonder First
Cynicism is easy. Wonder takes courage. We choose to be genuinely amazed by existence rather than blunted by familiarity. Always.
Our Story

How we got here

4space.io started as a midnight conversation about consciousness between two friends who couldn't stop asking questions no one around them wanted to engage with. They built what they needed.

2021
The First Transmission
A newsletter to 47 friends exploring the question: "What if dark matter is just gravity from parallel universes?" It reached 2,000 subscribers in two weeks.
2022
Community Takes Root
Forums launched. The first live event with 200 attendees. Members from 20 countries. We realized we had built something that was needed.
2023
Ideas Archive Launch
We began commissioning and developing original long-form ideas, building a library of concepts that challenge ordinary thinking.
2024
10,000 Explorers
The community crossed 10,000 members across 40+ countries. Membership tiers launched. Pioneer program began shaping ideas collaboratively.
2025 →
The Frontier
12,000+ members, 47 countries, 380+ ideas. And this is the beginning. The universe is still mostly unexplored.
